Established Edinburgh restaurant Stac Polly has undergone a major refurbishment on its Dublin Street ground floor, creating a new Scottish-style brasserie, gin and wine bar. The original restaurant remains in the basement.
The brasserie’s modern-Scottish lunch menu is divided into sections for meat, fish, vegetarian and sharing platters each comprising three options. Post-lunch a menu of smaller dishes and snacks is available from mid-afternoon and throughout the evening.
A selection of Scottish and London gins are served simply allowing their unique botanical flavours to take centre stage. Two signature cocktails have been developed – an Edinburgh Raspberry Gin Fizz served with seasonal home-made syrups, and a classic Gin Martini made with Noilly Prat and a lime twist.
Stac Polly, 29-33 Dublin Street is open 7 days a week from 12pm until midnight. Lunch is served Monday to Saturday from 12-2pm. Brunch is served from 12.30-3pm on Sundays.
